A gray stone figure of a Buddha (Ming Dynasty 1368-1644). Seated in Virasana on a double lotus throne before a flame-shaped Mandorla carved with Apsara, holding in his right hand a Vajra, his left in earth touching gesture, his peaceful expression framed by a tightly curled coiffure, on stepped rectangular plinth, traces of polychrome.
