A continental silk and wool tapestry valance, circa 1840, possibly Russian with later rectangular molded concave gilt wood over door. Tapestry depicting continuous acanthus , alternating with medallions enclosing lion's masks and putti in the Renaissance style. Provenance; Prince Anatol, Villa San Donato.
